Robert Luckett, C.P.
Robert began his career in prosthetics in the early
1960’s. He began working for his father, J.H. Luckett, at Falls City Limb &
Brace Company and shortly after enrolled in the Prosthetics Program at
Northwestern University Medical School in 1965. Upon completion of the
Northwestern Program, Robert earned his ABC Certification as a Certified
Prosthetist in 1971. With over 40 years of prosthetic experience in the
Louisville community, he continues to play an integral role in the daily
operations of Louisville Prosthetics.
Wayne Luckett, C.P.
Wayne is a Certified Prosthetist with over 20 years of
clinical experience. Growing up in the family business, Wayne knew early on
that this was the career for him. He attended the Prosthetics Program at
Northwestern University Medical School in 1984, and completed his ABC
Certification in 1986. Wayne has extensive training and knowledge in
biomechanics, anatomy, and gait analysis. He is a C-Leg certified
clinician, having completed the training on fitting the Microprocessor
Controlled Knee-Shin System for transfemoral amputees. Wayne continues to
further his education by attending courses specializing in the technological
advances in prosthetics. He has most recently become certified to fit
the MAS
Transfemoral
Socket and the RCR Transtibial Socket, which you can learn more about at our

Bruce Luckett
Bruce also knew early on that the family
prosthetics business was the career path he would choose. He attended
the Prosthetics Program at Northwestern University Medical School, having
graduated in 1987. Bruce is especially proficient with our unusual
cases or difficult to fit limbs. With over 20 years of experience in the field of prosthetics,
Bruce has a vast knowledge and understanding of the role prosthetics plays
in the rehabilitation process.
Bruce is also
experienced with all of the latest technological advances in our field
including RCR sockets, vacuum suspension systems, custom designed liners,
and much more.
Chris Luckett, C.P.
Chris is a
Certified Prosthetist and Orthotic Fitter with nearly 10 years of experience
in the field.. He is also an alumnus of Northwestern University
Medical School, having graduated from the Prosthetics Program in 2003.
Chris earned his ABC certification in 2005. Chris is a C-Leg certified clinician, Harmony certified clinician
(Vacuum Assisted Suspension), and has completed the Ottobock Hybrid and
Myobock Upper Extremity courses on fitting myoelectrics. Chris also has
extensive knowledge in the Computer Aided Design & Manufacture of
prostheses.
Laurie Luckett
Laurie has been with Louisville
Prosthetics since 2006. A position that initially started out to be
temporary has emerged into a permanent position as Office Manager and
Billing Specialist. Laurie works with all facets of insurance collections
and customer service, including speaking directly with insurance companies,
making sure all claims are processed correctly and efficiently, and handling
financial and billing questions for patients.
Kathy DeNise
Kathy began with Louisville Prosthetics in
2008 as an Administrative Assistant. She serves as the liaison between
patients and practitioners; scheduling appointments, receiving
prescriptions, and following up with doctors and patients. Kathy previously
had a career in nursing at the University of Michigan, HEB Hospital in
Texas, House Calls Home Health, and Baptist Hospital Northeast. Her
compassion for those in need of medical assistance makes her a great asset
to our team.
