At Louisville Prosthetics, our Board Certified/State Licensed Prosthetists are dedicated to providing the best in prosthetic management. We take great pride in our problem solving ability for those difficult or unusual cases. We work as a family and a team to ensure that each patient receives the specialized care that they deserve. We feel that our teamwork approach plays an integral role in returning patients to an independent and active lifestyle. Wayne Luckett, LP, LPed
Wayne is a Licensed and ABC Certified Prosthetist and Pedorthotist with nearly 40 years of clinical experience. Having grown up in the family business, Wayne knew early on that prosthetics was his calling. He attended the Prosthetics Program at Northwestern University Medical School in 1984 and completed his ABC Certification in 1986.
Wayne brings extensive expertise in biomechanics, anatomy, and gait analysis, allowing him to deliver highly individualized patient care. He has advanced certification and specialized training in fitting microprocessor-controlled knees, including C-Leg, Genium X4, Kenevo, Rheo, Navi, Kneuro, Plie, and Orion, as well as microprocessor-controlled feet such as Kinnex, Elan, Meridium, and Empower. A pioneer in the Louisville area, Wayne has been instrumental in fitting and managing osseointegration prosthetic patients. He is also highly skilled in the use of CAD/CAM technology and 3D printing, staying at the forefront of modern prosthetic design and fabrication. Committed to lifelong learning, Wayne regularly attends advanced courses focused on emerging technologies in lower extremity prosthetics.
Outside of the clinic, Wayne enjoys spending time with his family and his four wonderfully energetic grandsons. He loves the outdoors — especially hunting and competitive fishing — and takes great joy in sharing his appreciation of nature with others.

Bruce Luckett, LP
Bruce, too, knew early on that the family prosthetics business was the career path he would choose. He attended the Prosthetics Program at Northwestern University Medical School, graduated in 1987, and is a Licensed and Certified Prosthetist.
Bruce is extremely proficient with our unusual cases, utilizing current and evolving technologies to manage all of his patients, and is especially skilled in treating difficult transtibial limbs. With over 30 years of experience in the field of prosthetics, Bruce has vast knowledge and understanding of the role prosthetics plays in the rehabilitation process. Bruce is also experienced with all the latest technological advances in our field, including EMS sockets, Harmony sockets, suspension systems, microprocessor-controlled feet/ankles, custom-designed liners, and much more.
Outside of business, Bruce's dedication to family continues. He loves to gather for family dinners and Louisville Football games with his wife, three daughters, and four grandchildren. In his free time, Bruce also enjoys boating and fishing.

Chris Luckett, LP, LFO
Chris, Licensed and ABC Certified Prosthetist, brings over 20 years of experience in advanced prosthetic care. He is a 2003 graduate of Northwestern University Medical School’s Prosthetics and Orthotics program and holds advanced certifications in microprocessor knees, feet, and ankles. Chris is highly skilled in CAD/CAM prosthetic design and is deeply committed to leveraging the latest technological innovations to deliver precise, high-performance prosthetic solutions tailored to each patient’s needs.
In addition to his clinical expertise, Chris has built and fostered strong collaborative relationships with the area’s vascular surgeons and physical therapists to help ensure successful patient outcomes and support, before and long after their time at Louisville Prosthetics.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his two children and cheering too loudly at their many sporting events. He is an enthusiastic fan of the Tennessee Vols and holds steadfast to the philosophy of sportsmanship- rooted in respect, integrity, and responsibility — values that extend far beyond the playing field. This philosophy is how Chris approaches patient care.

Danielle Sakai
Practice Manager
Danielle serves as the Practice Manager at Louisville Prosthetics, where she brings a strong accounting background and a practical, solutions-driven approach to the daily operations of the practice. She is deeply committed to patient advocacy, taking an active role in ensuring every patient feels supported and informed throughout their care journey. Danielle is known for stepping in quickly to remove obstacles and championing process improvements that make care more accessible and efficient.
Her clear, straightforward communication style helps both staff and patients navigate complex situations with confidence. Danielle is especially passionate about creating an environment where patients feel respected and empowered — whether that means clarifying billing questions, smoothing out scheduling challenges, or advocating for resources that improve patient outcomes.
Outside the office, Danielle enjoys cooking, treating the kitchen as her creative outlet. For her, sharing food is a love language — whether she’s perfecting a new recipe, hosting a meal for friends or family, or bringing in something homemade for the team — cooking allows her to express care, connect with others, and create moments of comfort and community. Danielle is also a devoted dog owner. Her two girls, Penny Lane and Billie, bring companionship, humor, and balance to her life.

Nick DeNise
Certified Prosthetic Assistant
Nick is an ABC Certified Prosthetic Assistant and a University of Louisville graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. His journey into prosthetics began in the fabrication lab while attending school, where he developed a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship and technology behind each device. Today, Nick combines that hands-on experience with advanced prosthetic innovations to deliver personalized solutions. He enjoys the constant advancements and technology that drive the field.
When not working, Nick enjoys traveling with his wife and two young daughters, as well as cheering on Michigan Football.

Logan Hudgins
Prosthetic Assistant
Logan recently graduated from Franklin College, where he studied marketing and played on the men’s basketball team. He’s now working toward his certification as a prosthetic assistant. His experience as an athlete taught him resilience, teamwork, and discipline — qualities he brings to every interaction with patients. Logan is genuinely passionate about helping people regain their mobility and independence, and we know he’ll be a tremendous asset to our team as he supports individuals throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Outside of work, Logan enjoys spending time with his family and friends, attending sporting events (especially those involving Louisville), and hitting the golf course. These hobbies bring excitement and variety to his days, keeping things fun and never quite the same.

Trenton Baum
Prosthetic Technician
Trenton is a Prosthetic Technician at Louisville Prosthetics with hands-on experience in prosthetic fabrication. He specializes in laminations, modifications, and detailed fabrication work, contributing to the creation of high-quality, functional prosthetic devices tailored to each patient’s needs.
He takes pride in being part of a team that helps improve mobility and quality of life, and he finds the most fulfillment in knowing his work directly supports patients in their daily lives. Trenton is currently working toward his ABC certification and is committed to continuously expanding his technical skills and knowledge within the field of prosthetics.
Outside of work, Trenton is a dedicated sports fan and enjoys supporting Kentucky athletics and the Cincinnati Bengals. He values teamwork both on and off the field and brings that same dedication, reliability, and attention to detail into his work every day. Trenton is passionate about his craft and strives to ensure every patient feels supported, respected, and confident in the care they receive.

Hannah Luckett
Billing Coordinator
Hannah works as Louisville Prosthetics’ billing coordinator, utilizing her experience as a life insurance underwriter to bring a detail-oriented approach to the claims as they are processed through various insurances, workers’ compensation, and other payers. She is committed to working with both patients and insurance to ensure the claims are billed correctly, in order to minimize the stress of the financial part of the process on our patients.
She is also part of the front office staff, where she assists in scheduling, rooming, and checking out patients, and works to resolve any questions or other concerns that might arise from our patients.
Hannah is proud to be the fourth generation working at the family business, as the great-granddaughter of J.H. Luckett.
In her free time, Hannah enjoys baking treats to share with friends and family, knitting, and spending time with her dog.

Audrey McBride
Authorization Specialist
Audrey is an experienced administrative assistant and prior authorization specialist with over a decade of experience in customer service and insurance-related fields. As a key member of the front office team, she is known for her strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex workflows efficiently. Audrey plays an important role in supporting both patients and clinical staff by ensuring authorization processes are handled accurately and promptly, helping operations run smoothly.
Outside of work, she enjoys road-tripping and birdwatching, interests that reflect her appreciation for exploration, patience, and observation.

Kierstin Prentice
Administrative Assistant
Kierstin studied psychology at the University of Louisville and brings several years of customer service experience to her role as an Administrative Assistant. She is dedicated to helping patients feel welcomed, heard, and supported from the moment they reach out to the office.
With strong communication and problem-solving skills, Kierstin works to make scheduling, questions, and office visits as smooth and stress-free as possible.
In her free time, Kierstin enjoys reading and exploring Louisville’s parks with her dog, staying connected to the community she serves.
